About the role
We will be opening this role in the coming months as the LA studio takes on a new commercial commission in West Hollywood. We are sharing it early because the right person for this role is likely already working somewhere and not actively looking — and we would rather find them now than rush when the role opens.

Job Description
What you will work on
Leading commercial interior design projects from brief to delivery at the LA studio
Working directly with Sophie Cendre, co-founder and design director
Managing junior team members on project teams
Client-facing from day one — presentations, site visits, design reviews
Building and maintaining supplier relationships across the LA market
What we are looking for
6–10 years of experience in commercial interior design — retail, office, hospitality, or a combination
A portfolio of completed projects that demonstrates rigour and restraint in equal measure
Leadership experience — you have managed people before and you are good at it
Deep knowledge of the LA design and supplier landscape
Someone who is excited by the challenge of building something rather than maintaining something
What we are not looking for
Someone who is looking for their next title rather than their next challenge
Someone who needs the brief to be fully resolved before they can start
Someone whose commercial work looks like corporate default
What we offer
Salary $95,000 – $125,000 depending on experience

$2,500 annual learning and development budget — higher for senior roles
20 days PTO plus studio closure between Christmas and New Year
